The Hotel Caravaggio is located in the historic center of Florence, easily reachable on foot from Santa Maria Novella station in a few minutes. The Fortezza da Basso exhibition center, the Palazzo dei Congressi and the Stazione Leopolda are also a short distance from the hotel.

HOW TO REACH US

BY CAR
Traveling from the North on the A1, follow the “Firenze Nord” exit. Traveling from the South, take the “Firenze Sud” exit.

Follow the directions for the center and station. From the avenues, take Via Santa Caterina D’Alessandria which leads directly into Piazza Indipendenza, without entering the restricted traffic area.

In front of the hotel we have 2 parking spaces available for guests to park during check-in and check-out times. Subsequently, the car must be taken to a nearby garage or use the garage in agreement with the hotel which provides a valet service.

Alternatively, you can opt for the Villa Costanza car park between the Firenze Scandicci and Firenze Impruneta exits of the A1 motorway, after which you can reach the center and the hotel by tramway line T1 (active from 5:30 to 24:00) to the Fortezza stop .

BY PLANE
The Amerigo Vespucci airport is 5km from the center of Florence. To reach the center you can easily use the T2 line of the tramway (about 20 minutes – active from 5:30 to 24:00) Unit stop, or a taxi with a ride of about 15 minutes, for an average price of 22/25 Euros .

BY TRAIN
From Santa Maria Novella station, it takes about 7 minutes on foot, then take the left exit, cross the street and head to the right, the first street on the left is via Nazionale, which you have to go straight until you reach piazza Indipendenza.
